about us
Social Team Work is a private practice based in Greater Sudbury, offering virtual services across Ontario.
Counselling can do more than help you address underlying mental health issues. It can also be an opportunity to address core issues that get in the way of achieving other goals.
Are you looking to feel more energized and focused? Maybe you want to quiet your mind and relax? Science has shown that the mind and body are deeply connected. While a calm and relaxed body can improve your focus, challenging your thoughts or shifting your perspective can change the way you feel and how you interact with the world around you.

I am grateful to live and practice within the Anishinaabe territory. As a social worker, it is my responsibility to fulfill my role in working toward reconciliation with indigenous people and to support individuals in their journey of healing.
De plus, je suis fier d'être francophone du nord-est de l’Ontario et je valorise l'importance d'offrir des services de santé mentale en français à la communauté francophone de Sudbury.
What do you want your life to look like? This is such a broad question and your answer can differ depending on which area of life you think about. You might not know how to answer it right away, but it can eventually lead to incredible journeys of personal growth.
Do you want to keep moving forward? Right now, do you feel the need to persevere in the face of adversity? From students and athletes to parents and professionals, my clients are often those who have a lot going on: daily life stressors, important responsibilities, high expectations and big ambitions. You can expect that I will challenge you. I can help you analyse and restructure your thoughts, face your emotions and further develop your critical thinking skills. It is my intention to treat you with fairness and respect, so if you are not sure about something or if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. Teamwork is an important factor in your success.
It starts with that first step: acknowledging that there is a problem or deciding that you want something to change. Whether you want to improve your health, self-esteem, relationships or you want to reach a new personal or professional goal, wanting more out of life is not a bad thing. Growth is known to play a big part in enhancing one’s happiness.
You need the full picture. Like an iceberg, before counselling you will likely only see the tip. Once you start to dive deeper, you will come to see things differently. Problems can be much more complex, fears can be much darker and trauma can lie far beneath the surface. But the same can be said about your strengths and your potential. We will work from the bottom up to understand the core issues, the possible barriers, as well as systemic and psychosocial risk factors. Along the way, we will identify your strengths and help you gain confidence in your own abilities while working toward overcoming each new challenge.
I want you to be able to envision what you want your life to look like, to turn it into concrete action and to start producing measurable results.
